Hi, I’m Jessica!
Thank you for taking time out of your day to visit my blog and read about me! I always feel silly writing about myself and sometimes I wonder who even cares besides my biggest fan… my mom. Lol, hi mom! 🙂 But here we go! I thought I’d just answer some questions that I’ve been asked before so that you can learn a little bit about who I am.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM & WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW?
I grew up in Sweet Home Alabama but moved to California for college, grad school, and work. I lived there for over a decade! Time sure flew by! When people ask me where I’m from, I never know whether to say California or Alabama. Although I grew up in AL, I spent all of my adult years in CA and feel like I grew and experienced so much life there. Anyways, I just recently moved back to the south. 🙂 I live in Nashville now and I love it SO MUCH!
WHAT DO YOU DO?
Such a common questions that is asked in life! haha I was an early childhood/elementary school teacher for about 7 years! I always thought I’d be a teacher forever and was very passionate about it… BUT it seems that God had different plans for me. Although it’s been so hard to leave my comfort zone, I pushed myself to have faith and go down a different path. I am currently living the dream and am a REALTOR here in Nashville! Real estate was always something that I absolutely loved. My main childhood hobby was looking at houses, collecting floor plans, and studying “Homes for Sale” magazines. I feel so blessed that I get to do something that I love so much each day and it even counts as “work”! 😀
WHAT MADE YOU START YOUR BLOG?
I have always loved interior design, fashion, DIY projects, and all things inspirational. Finding ways to make my life more beautiful and meaningful has always been important to me. Whether it’s to improve myself and how I do things in life… or even my environment and how I look and feel, I think it’s always important to be striving to be better! With the encouragement of some friends and family, I decided to start this blog to share all of those things with you!
